Me: Oh my god, Sid, your uniform isn't pressed for tomorrow.

Jay: Amma, are you ok?

Me: Yes, I'm ok Jay. Why you asking?

Sid: He's asking because he thinks you're exhausted. Are you?

Me: Yes I am, there's so much work to do.

Sid: Amma, we are both very unlucky. Tchh..tch.

Me: Why?

Sid: Me, because I have to go to school. You, because you have so much work.

It's been a while! Not that Sid and Jay aren't saying or doing anything eye-opening every single day.. but I'm slacking...

So just now - after a hard day's day (that's how it is with 2 kids) I was telling Balu that we should go to Pondicherry soon - just the two of us. There are some amazing properties there that acquaintances have visited recently that i so want to try out. Jay starts off "Noooooo... I want to come. Please don't leave me. I want to go on that bye bye....". Sigh...
